John Benson

John P. Benson, Co-founder and Chairman of Verisys Corporation, leaves his role as CEO and prior, as COO to focus on the strategic direction of growth, technology and market positioning of Verisys. He has some 30 years of experience in reducing fraud in healthcare through materially contributing to the ability for real-time transparency to transactions, individuals, and entities. He built Verisys from a small healthcare data start-up to a market-leader credentials verification organization that serves some of the largest health systems in the U.S. Having merged Verisys Corporation and Aperture Health in mid 2021, he is guiding the organization by helping lead innovation and technology for higher interoperability critical to elevating quality, safety, and outcomes for the healthcare consumer.
