Verisys COVID-19 Processing Update
Dear Verisys Customers and Partners,
Verisys received notification from Puerto Rico that the medical board offices have been closed and verification services will not be supported at this time. While it will not be possible to verify licensure in Puerto Rico during the pandemic period, Verisys will return these licenses as “Unable to Verify” with a note that states “Due to COVID-19, the Puerto Rico Medical Board is closed and unable to process requests.” If your organization is supported by the Verisys license monitoring service, the license will be reverified upon reopening of the board. If the license is not monitored, the license will need to be resubmitted for verification at a later date, after the reopening of the licensing board and verification services.
