Verisys COVID-19 Pandemic Update
Dear Verisys Customers and Partners,
Thank you for your partnership and communication in light of the COVID-19 pandemic. Verisys continues to deliver all products and services without interruption at this time, and we do not anticipate any service disruptions related to the pandemic in the coming days or weeks. A task force of leaders, representing all critical areas of the business, was established as part of standard Verisys policies and procedures related to business continuity, and this group of individuals has been tracking all COVID-19 updates at the state and federal level closely, making key decisions for business continuity over the past several weeks. With the issuance of the National Emergency, in tandem with school closures across many states, and social distancing recommendations at the state and local government levels, this task force has been singly focused on the safety of team members, local communities, and of ensuring continual delivery of Verisys services.
Verisys leaders have focused on preparing for all possible outcomes, strengthening operations and technology protocols for remote work and workload management offsite. We have added additional monitoring and capacity to our servers, data centers, and call centers to ensure network stability and normal business operations. We have implemented increased network capabilities to facilitate remote working access for team members, including access to all critical systems for business continuity in the event of facility closures. We have further tested this, at scale, with multiple teams now working remotely. A large percentage of team members, across the United States, are now working remotely and delivery of services, system stability, and data quality are both consistent and sustainable.
Verisys has implemented additionally more robust measures for facility cleanliness and we are promoting best practices in hygiene and wellness to minimize risk. We have restricted employee travel to align with the latest health and travel guidance from the CDC and WHO, as well as individual health care practitioner and customer directed requirements. At this time, we have fewer than 100 individuals working in any office, and while we do not anticipate needing to close all locations, we are prepared to do so, without impact to delivery.
