Team Verisys Onsite at Dreamforce Salutes Salesforce for Their Commitment to Innovation and Positive Change
Thousands have gathered from all over the world in San Francisco this week for the 17th Dreamforce event with the belief that business is the greatest platform for change and positive economic impact.

We live in a time where people have lost trust in the media, in their political leaders, and in the companies they do business with. Technology has connected us like never before, and made things faster and easier, but consumers question whether companies are using technology to make the world a better, safer place. This is one of the goals of Dreamforce, to gather together some of the brightest minds in the world to strategize ways to transform how we do business that builds trust with customers, with stakeholders, and has a positive impact on the world we live in.
Chairman and Co-CEO of Salesforce Marc Benioff shared, “That is why we’re here as Trailblazers: to improve the state of the world with trust, customer success, innovation, and equality.”
During the keynote address on Tuesday, November 19th Dreamforce attendees were introduced to Sheldon Simmons and the organization Merivis. This organization was founded by U.S. Air Force veterans and centers on the belief that as you climb higher it’s important to lift others up too. They heard Sheldon’s inspiring story of rising up and building a better life for himself and he’s done that as a Salesforce consultant.
The attitude of lifting others and helping them to rise goes a long way in accomplishing bigger picture goals regardless of the type of business your company does. Customer expectations are changing with the times. Consumers are looking for companies they can trust with their data and personal identifying information. They want to do business with ethical companies, and many look for sustainable products that protect our planet. Businesses need to pivot to accommodate the changing landscape of today’s consumers.
In lieu of this changing landscape Salesforce executives announced two new tools during the opening keynote address at Dreamforce 2019. Customer 360 Truth allows you to connect all the siloed data from different departments into one central hub and creates a single and more personal view of each customer. The second announcement was regarding Einstein’s new voice capabilities and enhancements. Salesforce admins and developers will be able to use the AI voice assistant to get briefings, make updates, open dashboards, and perform basic administrative tasks for their customers.
