What happened?

To continue to grow as the most comprehensive brand in provider data management, Aperture Health entered into an agreement to be acquired by the large private equity firm Stone Point Capital and to be combined with Verisys.

To continue to better serve our customers with turn-key provider screening, verifications, credentialing, and continuous monitoring, Verisys entered into an agreement to be acquired by the large private equity firm Stone Point Capital and to be combined with Aperture Health.

The resulting technology and services organization is a leader in comprehensive Provider Data Management (PDM) and Governance, Risk, and Compliance (GRC).

Why are Verisys and Aperture combining?

The combination of Aperture and Verisys is all about serving our clients and partners. Both companies are leaders in our respective segments. The deal strengthens the combined organization in Provider Data Management and in healthcare Governance, Risk, and Compliance.

Which products and services are included?

Verisys clients will benefit from Aperture’s experience as the largest Credentials Verification organization in the U.S., as well as its strength in data services, provider directories, and provider data management. Aperture clients will benefit from Verisys’ credentialing and data services, such as the CheckMedic, Verisys Connect, and VLSS products. They will also gain access to Verisys’ screening technology as well as the fraud, waste, and abuse monitoring product FACIS.
