I wanted something different. I had been at my previous job for almost 20 years and there was no way to be promoted. There were a few people that I worked with who started working at Verisys before I did, and they told me how great it was and so I had to see for my myself. After three years working here, opportunities for growth are frequently discussed.
Tell us a little bit about you.
I’ve been married to my husband for eight years, but we have known each other since high school. Together we have four kids (two are his from a previous marriage, one from my ex, and we have one together). I love to watch scary movies!! I even have our 8-year-old daughter watching them with me. I love spending time with the family, even if it’s playing board games, cards, etc.
What is your favorite thing about working at Verisys?
My favorite thing about working here is how laid back it is. My lead and manager will work with me if something comes up and I need to change my schedule. And they recognize employees who do their job and are always there if I have a question about work and explain if I don’t understand something.
What is your favorite part of your role?
My favorite part about my job is learning the different clients. I’m always up for a challenge and learning new things.
What has surprised you the most about working at Verisys?
What has surprised me the most about working here are the bonuses that employees can acquire and the appreciation that is shown.
