Mark Schaerrer Employee Spotlight
This is Mark Schaerrer and he is the Director of Human Resources at Verisys. Mark works to nurture and grow the people and culture at Verisys in ways that bring us together. He has been working in HR for over 13 years and is passionate about his work. He’s the Chapter President of the Salt Lake Society of HR Managers (SHRM). In his free time, he likes to BBQ, spend time with his family, duck hunt on the marshes of the Great Salt Lake, and volunteer with Ducks Unlimited. Mark was also a Peace Corps volunteer in the country of Georgia and lived in the town of Gori, Joseph Stalin’s hometown. While there he helped with internally displaced refugees. Something many people don’t know about Mark is that when he was in college, he and his debate partner won the National Jr. College Debate Championship, going undefeated, was awarded a scholarship to Georgia State University, and was essentially paid to argue his way through college. His current podcast of choice is The Future of Work with Jacob Morgan. Mark is dedicated to the growth and betterment of all who work for Verisys and works hard to foster a strong and connected network of teams who support one another in our company mission.
