Valerie Mondelli moderates panel at HCCA’s 23rd Annual Compliance Institute

Valerie Mondelli, RPh, MBA, Chief Revenue Officer at Verisys Corporation, will be moderating the panel discussion: EXAMINING THE FOUNDATIONAL FEATURES OF A PATIENT PROTECTION-DRIVEN COMPLIANCE PROGRAM as part of the curriculum at HCCA’s 23rd Annual Compliance Institute this Sunday, April 7th.
The panel will discuss the importance of a good compliance program given the ever-changing health care landscape. Experts on the topic include Beverly Craig, clinical side RN and regulatory compliance and clinical risk management contributor; Jennifer Gillespie, Verisys Compliance Officer and regulatory and standards expert; Herman Williams, Chief Clinical Officer and specialized expert in public health and policy issues.
Valerie will guide the panel experts into meaningful discussion of the evolution of compliance as a career path, how new regulations and health care delivery methods affect the role of compliance, and the importance of a solid compliance program on the mitigation of fraud, waste and abuse.
Prior to Verisys, Valerie spent 20 years in health care technology working across every market. She has experience in working with all health care settings and has driven health care innovation through multiple technology and data platforms. She is a passionate advocate for transparency in health care, and as a pharmacist, better health care for all.
Valerie’s dedication and support of community shows in her love of giving back, especially to children. She volunteers frequently and is a National Trustee of the Boys and Girls Clubs of America.
