Jennifer Gillespie, CHC, CHPC, CPMSM, CPCS joined Verisys in 2011 and currently serves as the Compliance Officer. Jennifer leads the Compliance, Internal Audit and Quality teams at Verisys. She maintains our URAC CVO accreditation, NCQA CVO certifications (11 of 11) and ISO 9001, ensuring adherence to the constantly changing regulatory requirements in the health care industry.
Ms. Gillespie (aka Sherlock) is committed to the fight against health care fraud and abuse, which costs the nation billions of dollars every year. Her passion and experience in investigative research, data analysis and resolution assists Verisys in protecting both consumers and clients. Prior to joining Verisys, Jennifer gained more than 12 years of government security compliance and auditing experience.
When she’s not wearing her investigative hat, Jennifer likes to read, golf, travel and ride dirt bikes. While snorkeling off the coast of Panama, she had the pleasure of swimming only 20 feet away from a whale shark the size of a school bus. “It was amazing!”
Amy Andersen, PMP, SSGB currently serves as VP of Operations managing all Production, Content, Client Services and Account Management teams at Verisys. Amy has been with Verisys since 2013 and works tirelessly to bring more transparency to the health care industry in order to facilitate a better, safer patient experience.
Amy is a sought-after speaker at conferences because of her insight into how data across states, regions and profession-types indicates trends and behaviors in health care. She presents with simplicity the complex topic of compliance and building preventative measures into an organization’s patient-advocacy processes.
When she’s not focused on optimizing processes to better serve patients nationwide, Amy can be found spending time with her husband and children, traveling or listening to a wide variety of fabulous music spanning several decades. She has great musical taste!
